Google Trends is a helpful place to see what people are searching for around the world. It now allows a new feature wherein user can subscribe to any search topic, plus Hot Searches for any country.
The new Google trend feature also allows user to subscribe to email notifications about searches for any topics which they wish to follow. If users get carried away and add too many subscriptions, they can edit their choices later and unsubscribe to the searches of their choice.
This new feature is designed more for keeping up on news you’re interested in, by allowing you to receive updates regularly, but not necessarily getting the information the minute it arrives.
Google is often refining its search trends services, the improved trends page came just after Google released its 13th annual Zeitgeist list of the most popular trending searches for 2013.
This new feature is similar to the long-running Google Alerts service, however, Google Alerts has met with technical glitches, and Google ended their Alerts via RSS service last year.
